It's you but Online...

Isn't the goal that when people see you in real life they recognize you from social media? I'm not talking just about appearances, but personality wise too.

One of the worst things that happens to celebrities occurs when they have poor and negative responses to fans out in public. And yes, sometimes the fan over steps but it is the celebrity's role - one that they put themselves in. The point is, it doesn't look good.

"A bad personality can make even the most attractive person ugly" - Anonymous

People love to believe what they see online, but circulating stories about poor encounters tarnish that in-good-faith belief. Therefore, your online presence, personal brand, and you should be in cohesion. If these few things don't match up, it will be much harder to accomplish your goals.

"The whole is greater than the sum of its parts" - Aristotle

Not only is it easier when everything works in tandem, but the value increases. Instead of a leaf, root, or a limb - it's a beautiful tree.

At that point it's not just your personality or your brand - it's your reputation.
